About the Founder

Dan Schneider founded his first company at age 18: a mobile phone store that quickly expanded to a dozen locations in his native Philadelphia. He parlayed this early success into an international cellular wholesale operation which grossed more than $35 million in revenue in only two years.

Still in his twenties, Dan founded SIB Fixed Cost Reduction, a consulting firm that quickly built a nationwide client base of organizations such as Walmart, Hyatt Hotels, Pep Boys, Saks Fifth Avenue, Marriott, and the American Red Cross. After 12 years at the helm, he sold the company to private equity firm O2 Investment Partners.

In this new stage of his career, Dan is pulling back from day-to-day company management to take a more thoughtful, long-term strategic approach. With Logic & Reason, LLC, he is applying the lessons he has learned and the network he has built to advise a diverse array of companies.

My path to success has been anything but typical.

I struggled with dyslexia and dropped out of high school after the 9th grade, but by the time I would have been graduating, I already had Started 2 companies.

MY EDUCATION

Street smarts was my high school diploma.

The mobile phone companies were my bachelor’s degree.

12 years At SIB advising multiple Fortune 500 companies – that was my MBA

“As someone on the autism spectrum, I’ve always known that I think differently. In my mind, logic and reason must prevail – it’s in my DNA.”
